It’s not spoiling much to say that this is Spike, asking around the Ganymede natives for information on this episode’s bounty. Seen in the reflected, terraformed sea of Ganymede like this though, it takes on a new majesty. A fascinating timepiece, in that it suggests Ganymede has a 30-hour day. It does not, in fact - the moon is described as similar to ours, in that the same face is always turned towards Jupiter. Its natural behaviour leaves the moon with an orbit of around 7 days, making for a pretty long ‘day’.
